OPENING: from the beginning of June till the end of September

From the shelter one has different choices of excursions, from the lakes (Zana, Arcoglio,
Cassandra) to the mountain pastures (Zana, Mastabbia) and finally the connection with
Valmasino.
AS IT IS REACHED: from Chiesa Valmalenco on a path that crosses the route up to the
mountain pastures of Alpe Lago, then continues on a path up to Alpe Airale, from where one can see the shelter. Time of route: 3 hours. Can also be done in MTB.
Alternative option from Alpe Piasci: by car from Torre Santa Maria, a beautiful walk, ideal for families, of the duration of 1.30 hour with a gradient of 350 m.
