Contrada Fancoli (Castionetto)

The Fancoli settlement developed on a gentle slope of the Rheatian Alps, at the feet of the Medieval Qadrio tower, located at the entrance of Val Fontana. The tower certainly hosted at least three households belonging to the Fancoli family. The road crossing the settlement divides it in two parts: several buildings are grouped in a well-preserved isolated block. On the other side of the road there are now some recently built houses and the old buildings are used as deposits.
